Major Arcana 15: The Devil
This card shows a man a woman struggling over a chest. The lid is open, and treasure spills from it, but it’s chained to the wall. They can’t move the chest. The man and woman are located in a long, dark tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, they see a glimpse of bright sunlight, grass, trees, mountains, and birds flying.
Greed
This card means greed. Bondage to desire, lust, avarice, gluttony, excess, etc. The opposite of the Temperance card, the Seeker is unwilling to settle for less than everything, and it’s really hurting him or her, and confining him/her. The Seeker needs to change his attitudes or be seriously hurt.
